Umphreys is very unique with there mixture of progressive rock, Heavy metal, and eletronica and are very technical players. both should be valued for there experimental and improvisational live shows not used to discredit one another

Jan 31, 2010 - for me there is no comparison to phish, but i have many emotional connections and memories associated with the shows i have been and the phrends i have made. for me only phish can get me where i truly wish to be. i love shows of all kinds and many other bands can allow me to access that energy too but PHISH does it in a way that is so profound and astonishing to myself that all i can do is surrender to the phlow. ;} (for that was the trick) its really a unique thing we have with this band and.
